Treatment
The first step in our PRP Hair treatment is to take the patient’s history. This is an important step to help us identify any factors that may be contributing to your hair loss, thinning or shedding. Once we have a clear understanding of your unique circumstances, we will proceed with the treatment. To begin the treatment, we will take a blood sample from the patient. We then extract the maximum growth factors from the plasma by spinning it in a centrifuge. This helps to concentrate the growth factors and create a more effective PRP solution.
While the plasma is being processed, our trained technicians will apply a local anaesthetic cream to the scalp. This cream helps to reduce any pain or discomfort that may be associated with the treatment. Once the anaesthetic cream has taken effect, we will then administer local anaesthesia to the scalp. This is an important step to ensure that the patient is comfortable throughout the treatment process. Finally, we will deliver the PRP solution effectively to the scalp, working to stimulate hair growth and improve hair thickness and volume.
